Every hotel ballroom within thirty miles is sold out for December by about August, because everybody wants the same four Fridays. We are a wedding venue, and December through March is our off-peak — which means the month everybody else is full is the month we have space.
That is the whole argument, and it is a strong one if you are reading this in October having been told no by three other places.
What a holiday party needs
A bar, a dance floor, dinner for everybody at once, parking that does not require a shuttle, and somewhere to hand out awards without shouting. The hall does all of it at three hundred, and the stone fireplace is lit on request, which in December is the entire aesthetic.
