A company dinner is judged on two things nobody puts in the brief: whether people at the far end of a long table can hear each other, and whether service reaches everybody within a reasonable window.
Both are layout problems. Long tables seat more people per square metre than rounds but are worse for conversation; rounds are better for talking and worse for a stage. We will lay the room either way, and it is worth deciding which of the two matters more to you before the night.
Catering
Outside caterers are welcome, which for a corporate booking is usually the deciding factor — most companies have somebody they already use, or a procurement process that requires three quotes. The bar is ours; everything else is open.
