From the first coffee to the last song

Not a rule — a shape. Most couples run something close to this, and every hour of it moves if you want it to.

Morning

The suite opens

Hair and makeup go up in the room off the hall. The party arrives in stages, somebody brings too much food, and the day starts slowly on purpose.
Early afternoon

Vendors arrive to a room already set

Tables and chairs are in place before your florist walks in, so the hours you are paying for go on flowers and light rather than on furniture.
Late afternoon

Guests up the lane, and the vows

Chapel or patio — both sites are held for you, so the call is made on the morning by whoever is looking at the sky, not eight months out by somebody guessing.
Golden hour

Cocktails outside while we turn the hall

Your photographer takes you into the trees for the light. Behind you, the room is being reset for dinner. You do not see any of it happen.
Evening

Dinner at the hearth

Three hundred can sit down in front of the stone fireplace with the dance floor still open behind them. Lit on request, and worth requesting.
Night

The floor, the bar, and the last song

In-house bartenders work the saloon bar until you are done. When it ends we handle the turn, which is the part nobody tours for and everybody remembers.
